Almost no EEC law is taugh in French civil service initial training a present. Indeed, there are very few legal experts in EEC affairs. The Single European Act will lead to increased demand in this field, requiring more training in EEC law, basic and advanced. This article examines how a special school of EEC law might meet such demand. It also makes recommendations for the legal affairs departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and SGCI, the French coordinations body for EEC affairs
