This article is about those human rights issues in British Columbia that affect gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered (GLBT) people and to do som] from my prerspective as Chief Commissioner of the BC Human Rigths Commission. First, I walnt to be clear that although I will be focussing my comments on the status of GLBT human rights issues in BC, my concern is for the human rights of all British Columbians. I will also describe the work of the Commin]ssion and my role in achieving the purposes of the BC Humans Rigths Code
