| Summary, etc. | La décision de créer une entreprise nouvelle constitue pour un entrepreneur un moment essentiel, une décision originelle, fondatrice. On aurait donc pu s'attendre à ce que tous les modèles d'entrepreneuriat accordent à cette décision la place qui lui revient. Or elle est très souvent absente, l'entrepreneur apparaissant plus comme un agent pris dans un contexte qui le pousse vers l'entrepreneuriat que réellement comme un acteur décidant en toute connaissance de cause de créer sa propre organisation. C'est ce paradoxe qui a amené à traiter de cette problématique à travers l'étude de la littérature et un travail empirique de recueil de quarante récits de vie de créateurs d'entreprise.
