| Summary, etc. | Le service public postal mis en place au Cameroun dès l’indépendance du pays en 1960 a connu des fortunes diverses. Les lacunes d’une gestion trop administrative ainsi que l’absence d’une stratégie managériale visant à adapter ce secteur d’activités aux évolutions technologiques et économiques ont entrainé la déchéance progressive de ce précieux outil de développement. Suite à sa mise en concession par l’État en 2004, le service public postal est aujourd’hui en mutation. Cette transformation s’observe non seulement dans l’évolution du cadre organique et structurel, mais aussi dans les missions de service public qu’assument l’ensemble des opérateurs du secteur postal camerounais. |
