La coentreprise a constitué le mode d'entrée privilégié pour les investisseurs européens, et notamment français, en Chine. Comment mesurer la pertinence de ces investissements? A partir d'une méthodologie d'étude d'évènements, cet article présente des constats empiriques relatifs à l'appréciation boursière d'un échantillon de 40 annonces identifiées entre 1994 et 1998. L'analyse de certaines variables caractéristiques des annonces étudiées (implantation côtière des investisseurs franais en Chine, répartition du capital de la coentreprise entre partenaires français et chinois, date de l'annonce, activité de la coentreprise sino-française) en relation avec les rendements anormaux permettra de mieux comprendre les réactions boursières négatives qui ont été enregistrées |
