Urban development policy in slovenia and its implentations

The introduction provides an account of how the perceived need to cooperate jointly wiht our neighboring contries of Autrias an Italy has led to the establishment of regional transborder cooperative institutional frameworks. There after, principal factors involved in devising Solvenia`s urban development policies are identified and discussed, these include demographic trends, regional developmente trends, trends in urban and constructions planning, spatial planning regulation land-use policy, and local self-government reorganization plans. Finally, the responsibilities of various levels of government are noted with respect to the implementation of a new nation-wide development policy
