Danone links incentive pay to HR management

Some 40 percent of the incentive pay for more than 700 top managers at food company Danone, depends on people-management goals being achieved. These include international recruitment, developing high-potential employees through international assignments, establishing succession plans ad developing capable employees for the group as a whole. This strong emphasis on people-management objectives in the annual bonus scheme reflects Danone's corporate culture and the firm belief that profitable growth can only succeed from inventing in, and sharing with, company employees
