<br/><br/> With recent cutbacks in social welfare spending, private contributions to charitable organizations are increasingly important. This article attempts to find the most worthy. This article attempts to find the most worthy charities from a list of 78 organization surveyed. Organizations are judged by efficiency in minimizing fund raising and administrative costs, while maximizing program expenses. Other factors useful in assessing charitable organizations are discussed.
