<br/><br/> The professionalisation of the army requires that it lead both a mass recruitment policy and a reconversion policy involving considerable means. Volunteers enlisting in the army come under a training policy which gives special attention to those with no qualifications. Along with this, the Defence minister has made a number of contacts in view of establishing a pragmatic and efficient reconversion policy. Nonetheless, our system would be considerably improved if some of the lessons drawn from the U.K. model were put into practice
