Pela liberdade intelectual : uma homenagem a Gilberto Velho (1945-2012)

During his brilliant 40-year career, Gilberto Velho published dozens of articles, supervised more than 100 theses, won various awards, and occupied outstanding positions in Brazils most important social sciences institutions. He was Full Professor and Head of the Department of Social Anthropology at the National Museum (UFRJ) and member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences.
