This paper describes a framework for seecting a knowledge management strategy that is appropriate to the organisational and cultural context of an organisation. The framework is the main output of thje CLEVER (cross-sectoral leanirng in the virtual enterprise research project at Loughbough University. It was developed following a detailed studu of current knowledge manaement processes in the construction and manufaturing sectors.
