Despite all we know about the commitment and retention of workers, public organizations still lack the capacity to find and keep workers. More research analysis addressing the relationship between commitment of workers and politics, as well as commitment and value congruency (between members of the Senior Executive Service and the federal government) might provide a better understanding of workers` commitment to work organization. This article is written with the image of public organizations as value (cultural) and political systems. These hypothesized variables are predicted to have strong influences on the commitment of workers in the federal government | |
