520 3 _aThe fourth of our 'Crosstalk: interviews and transatlantic exchanges', hosted by the European Management Executive, features Adrew Pettigrew of Warwick University and Donald Hambrick of Columbia Universitity, New York, two academics well-steeped in organizational change and innovation. Andrew Pettigrew has early experience in sociology and anthropology and brings to the study of organizational change and performance, and executives and strategy in corporations, a unique perspective strengthened by many projects in these fields. His most recent research is, in fact, transatlantic in nature, studying new forms of organization and performance in top US and European firms, as well as those in Japan. His interview has provoked energetic comments and reply which we publish in this issue of EMJ. Professor Pettigrew was questioned at Warwick by Kenneth Starkey of the University of Nottingham
